Article on Bank Deposit Guarantees in Bulgaria by prof. Stoynev (Bar Review Journal)

In the October 2021 issue of the “Bar Review” journal (сп. “Адвокатски преглед”), prof. Ivan Stoynev published an article titled “On the compliance of Art. 5, para. 1, point 1 of the Bank Deposits Guarantee Act (repealed) with European Union Law harmonizing national deposit-guarantee schemes”.

The article analyzes the non-compliance of Art. 5, para. 1, point 1 of the Bank Deposits Guarantee Act (Publication – State Gazette No. 49/29.04.1998, Repealed – SG No. 62/14.08.2015, in force as of 14.08.2015) with Directive 94/19/EC and Directive 2014/49/EU.
