On May 18, 2024, attorney Emanuil Damyanov Kolev participated in the annual academic conference “Assoc. Prof. Kristian Takov and Senior Assist. Prof. Teodor Piperkov,” organized by the Teodor Piperkov Law Club, where he presented a paper on shareholders’ information rights.
The issue of shareholders’ information rights is of increasing importance as Bulgaria’s investment environment continues to rapidly develop. The presented paper analyzed key issues regarding the role of shareholders in corporate governance and the protection of their rights.
Over the years, the annual conference of the Teodor Piperkov Law Club has become one of the significant academic forums in the country. The conference holds special personal significance for Attorney Kolev. In his words: “As a former member and Vice President of the Teodor Piperkov Law Club, I am proud to see that the current members continue to develop its initiatives. It was particularly gratifying to see some of my former students from the first class I taught at Sofia University presenting papers at the conference. I wish them luck and believe many more valuable contributions await them!”
